Hyde Park, Ipswich — CCTV & Intercom Installation
Secure CCTV & Alarms installed a 15-camera CCTV system and upgraded the existing intercom at Hyde Park in Ipswich, giving the site wider camera coverage and tenants a convenient way to answer visitors and release the entrance door.
The brief
We were asked to provide CCTV coverage across the car park, internal entrances and external locations, alongside an upgrade to the existing intercom system.
CCTV coverage across the site
We installed 15 Hikvision 4MP AcuSense cameras with ColorVu night vision, positioned across the agreed areas. The cameras connect to a 32-channel recorder fitted with 16TB of hard-drive storage.
The recorder provides capacity for additional cameras beyond the 15 installed, allowing room for the system to grow.
See visitors and release the door from the office
We replaced the existing intercom with a new Hikvision video intercom system and installed full-HD internal screens inside each tenant’s office.
Tenants can answer a visitor, see who is at the entrance and release the door directly from their office screen.

The completed work brings together camera coverage across the site and a new video entry system for the tenants.
